It is my desire to help others grow spiritually; especially women. I knew as a young girl that I was called into the ministry. However, there were only a few women in the ministry to emulate or even to encourage me in this direction. And the few women I did see were highly ridiculed. So, I pushed this calling down! When I was 17, I heard a Methodist minister speak at my high school. I could hear God say, "see". I said, "Yes, I do, but I ain't doing that." That was 1988 and in 1995 I received my ministers license, I was 24. I understand the desire to grow and do all you believe God has called you to do. I also understand it takes time to grow, to understand God's Word, how to apply the Word of God to your life, how to share it with others, and honestly to do so in love and with grace.
My mother, who later also acknowledged her calling into the ministry, prophesied I would be a Christian author years ago. I held that prophetic word. I attempted many times to start, but it wasn't established until now. Why? I had to take time to spiritually mature. To grow in God, in grace and in love. I pray you will find these tools (the journals, blog, our bi-monthly publication, and the curated conversations on my podcast) helpful. This is what I believe God is asking me to do.
